Management

The firm is under the direction of  Robert S. Darbee.

He is the former President, The Bank of New York Trust Company, principal subsidiary of The Bank of New York and it's primary institutional investment arm.

He brings to the task experience with such institutional funds as CalPERs, Alaska Permanent Fund, WK Kellogg Foundation and the ATT Pension Fund as head of the Bank's Institutional Trust Division.  During that time he built the institutional portfolio unit from $20 billion to $75 billion in assets.

He served as Trustee, The American Medical Association Retirement Fund. 

Additionally, he was Vice President - Department Head at various times for both private and institutional portfolio management at the parent Bank of New York.  Responsibilities included oversight of research, trading and portfolio management.  He held a seat on the bank's Investment Policy Committee for more than 10 years.

At  Bankers Trust Company he served as Senior Vice President and Division Head responsible for private investments.

Earlier Mr. Darbee was with White Weld & Co. and Shearson Hamill.

He holds a BS (Chemical Engineering) from Lafayette College and an MBA (Finance) with Honors (Beta Gamma Sigma) from New York University.

He has passed the Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination.
